Bianca has over 30 years experience in Aged Care, mainly working with people living with dementia and their loved ones. Bianca’s Grandmother had dementia, and was a big part of her life. She provided her many wonderful experiences and insights of a person living with dementia.
Despite the dementia, Bianca’s Grandmother lived life to the fullest. She had energy and spirit. She knew what she wanted, was feisty, independent and had a fantastic life.
Bianca is a Certified Trainer and Educator and her education sessions are mapped to CHCAGE005 – Provide Support to People Living with Dementia.
In 2012, Bianca became certified as a Master Practitioner of the Internationally awarded Spark of Life Philosophy. Spark of Life is the underpinning philosophy of her holistic approach to her work.
This philosophy supports people working and living with those who have dementia to see beyond the disease, and enables the person living with dementia to have the confidence to come out of their shell and truly engage with those around them. Bianca has recently attended the 3 week International Master Course as a refresher and is now up to date with all the latest developments that this philosophy has to offer.
She would love to be able to support you by sharing some practical hints and tips from her experiences over her expansive time with older people, and be able to support you in this unique way of being with people living with dementia .
